Day 1: ARRIVAL and JAUNMOKU MANOR

Arrival to Riga airport. Private transfer from the airport to the Jaunmoku Manor – neogothic style is in perfect harmony with its Art Nouveau features, placing it among the architectural greats of Latvia. The building (ca.1901), initially intended as a hunting lodge for Riga Mayor George Armitstead, is located outside the city of Tukums (Kurzeme). The design master is the Baltic-German architect Wilhelm Boxlaff. Among the interior features are a Dutch tile wood stove-heater with paintings of the well-known Riga panorama. Check in Jaunmoku manor master’s room – An elegant room boasting Art Nouveau style interior design on the ground floor of the palace with a view opening up to the garden and the courtyard. The room has one double bed, a bathroom with a bath tub, a shower and a toilet. Dinner in Jaunmoku Manor restaurant. Free time.

Day 2: EXCURSION IN KULDĪGA and ĒDOLE CASTLE

After breakfast check out from Jaunmoku Manor. Transfer to Kuldīga (1h). Excursion in Kuldīga(2h) – enjoy a day on Kuldiga Tour, exploring the most romantic city in Latvia. Kuldīga is one of the best preserved towns in Latvia. The city boasts one of the largest and oldest brick bridges in Latvia and the widest waterfall in Europe. Abavas winery wine tasting  – the Abavas winery was established in 2010 in parallel with grape garden planting in the southern slope of the Abava valley. The owners also grow apples, currants, raspberries and rhubarb, collect bounty of the forest , which becomes aromatic beverages – apple and black currant wine, chokeberry port, apple pommo and apple brandy. All this can be enjoyed in a romantic atmosphere! Transfer to Ēdole Castle is a Gothic Revival castle situated on the banks of Ēdole Lake. Originally consisting of two residential buildings linked by a stone wall, the castle is surrounded by landscape park. It is considered an architectural and archaeological monument of national importance.0,5h. The castle was built for the bishop of Piltene between 1264 and 1267. It was rebuilt in the 16th century and from 1561 until 1920 it was the property of the Baltic-German Baron von Behr and his descendants. Check in Ēdole Castle Suite room -a Luxury suite with separate bedroom, bathroom and living room. Dinner in Ēdole Castle restaurant. Free time.

Day 3: PIENA MANOR - BERGHOF and SPA

After breakfast transfer to Piena muiza – Berghof (1,5h) –the manor was initially built as a hunting residence of Courland squire, Baron von Medem. One of the most brilliant Latvian neo-rococo interior examples, later used as a primary school of Sieksāte, recreation and training centre of Liepāja Dairy Plant, Dairy Industry Museum – and those are not simple words. People and their destinies are hiding beyond them. Check in Lux suite Baron fon Medem -The most luxurious room in the Main manor building decorated as if the baron himself would have wanted. There you will have an opportunity to have an evening bath relax time, drink morning coffee, sitting on the balcony and overviewing the picturesque Linden alley, and chores of locals at the Manor. Milk SPA – There are few things in the world so unpretentious and simple yet at the same time as absolute and valuted as milk. Day 4: DEER GARDEN and JAUNPILS CASTLE

After breakfast transfer to Deer garden (0,5h) – offers its guests and visitors the opportunity to admire some of the most beautiful wild animals in Latvia – the red deer. Seeing the deer in their natural habitat is a rare luck that usually lasts a few seconds.  In the deer garden next to the recreation centre the red deer are kept in a large territory adapted to the animals’ needs. Transfer to Jaunpils Castle (1,5h) -the Knights’ Castle at Jaunpils surprises visitors with its might and the Medieval aura still present there – not just the halls and passages, but also in excursions and theatrical tours simulating the Middle Ages, and such characters as Monk Teodors. Check in The Baron’s room – The Baron’s room is a romantic, golden toned room. Anyone can get away from their day-to-day worries, enjoy each other’s company in the light of the fireplace, delight in a bubbling Jacuzzi and have sweet dreams in the baron’s bed with a baldachin.  Dinner in Medieval Pub – under the velvet ceiling, in one of the oldest parts of the Castle –the Knight’s dining hall, you will find the Jaunpils Castle medieval tavern, where guests can enjoy delicious fare by candlelight with the accompaniment of ancient musical tones.  Night excursion to the castle cellars (1h) – The excursion will take the visitors to the ancient and mysterious cellars, possibly encountering the friendly castle ghost on the way; guests and the castle household sometimes see him fooling around. Free Time.

Day 5: DEPARTURE & RUNDĀLE PALACE

After breakfast check out from Jaunpils Castle and transfer to the Riga. On the way to Riga will have stop in the Rundāle palace (2h) – discover one of Latvia’s hidden treasures, the Palace of Rundale – is one of the most outstanding monuments of Baroque and Rococo art in northern Europe. It was built between 1736 and 1740 as a summer residence for Ernst Johann Biron, Duke of Courland and a favourite of the Russian Empress Anna Ioannovna. The palace was designed by the Russian court architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli and built under his supervision. End of tour in Riga (hotel or Airport).
