3 DAYS WALKING ALONG BALTIC SEA

Start from Riga. Our guide will meet you in hotel lobby in 6AM. Transfer to starting point Liepāja-(250km). First day will have 23 km walking along the Baltic sea. Today will see – The Northern Fort is an integral part of the Liepāja Fortress. Here you can walk subterranean labyrinth and bunkers, get information about Liepāja Fortress, its hisroty and construction. Lunch time – sandwiches and drinks. Night and dinner in guest house.

After breakfast we continue or walking along Baltic sea (14km) – we pass the Nature Reserve contains woods with a lot of Myrica stands and seashore from Ziemupe to Rudupe. You will find a lot of interesting plants in the dunes – a common moonwort, Dutchman’s pipe and salsify. If you succeed, you will also meet an insect – an antlion. You will have a possibility to enjoy natural moss patterns.Lunch time – snaks & drinks. End at Akmenrags lighthouse – The 35 metre high stone lighthouse is the main highlight of Akmeņrags. The first lighthouse was built in this location in 1884, but was completely destroyed during World War I. Rebuilt in 1921, the lighthouse rises above the forest tops again. Overnight & dinner in guest house.
