Explore Cēsis region amazing food scene! 
On this 8-hour tour you will taste delicious food from Cēsis region. We start the tour with visit of  small bakery right in the middle of the old town of Cesis. They offer tasting of bread, a short story – basic principles of baking healthy bread.
Next will visit cheese factory in Rauna with possibility to look around, get to know processes of cheese making, and taste them.

And last stop at small brewery Raiskumietis is a brewery of benefits which is rich in traditions and in which according to the best ancestral techniques and the highest quality standards. Excursion with local guide who will present all the production processes and methods. Of course, all the benefits can be tasted on the spot.

From  Riga  we are moving to Cēsis. Depend on traffics its takes around 1,5 hours.

10:30 PM – 12:30 PM:Bakery “Cēsu Maize

A small bakery right in the middle of the old town of Cesis. Here bread is baked from Latvian organic spelt wheat, buckwheat, oat and barley whole grain flour. Sourdough bread. Grain milled in a stone mill. They offer tasting of bread, a short story – basic principles of baking healthy bread.

12:30 PM – 13:30 PM: Free time in Cēsis

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Cheese Factory

Cheese Factory was established in 2006. In the early years of our factory there were only two products – the Green cheese and Gold (also known as ghee) butter, but now there are already 25 popular products we offer, including grated Green cheese, silage cheese Garlic (Ķiplociņš), silage cheese with herbs, 16 types of home made pasta and 5 types of  Home made noodles. Here we will look around, get to know processes of cheese making, and taste them.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Brewery Raiskumietis

Raiskumietis is a brewery of benefits which is rich in traditions and in which according to the best ancestral techniques and the highest quality standards, with love, beer is being brewed, bread is baked in the wood oven and delicious local meat products are smoked. Raiskuma labumu darītava can be viewed with a guide, who will present all the production processes and methods. Of course, all the benefits can be tasted on the spot.
