After a short safety briefing, your guide will show you how to control the sled and introduce you to the basics of mushing. Then it's time to take the reins and experience the excitement of being a real musher.


The approximately 3 km husky trail takes you through peaceful winter landscapes, with the energetic dogs pulling you along the forest trail. It's a fun and memorable experience for couples, families, friends and nature lovers.


After the ride, warm up with hot drinks and snacks and spend some time with the huskies. You can meet the dogs, take photos and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere after your adventure.



No Snow? No Problem!


If there isn't enough snow for traditional sledding, the adventure can continue with a husky dog cart ride on wheels. It offers almost the same experience and can even be a little faster — allowing you to enjoy the huskies regardless of snow conditions.

What happens if there is no snow?

No worries! The husky adventure continues even without snow. If winter conditions do not provide enough snow for a traditional sled ride, we offer a special cart ride on wheels pulled by our huskies.
The experience is very similar to dog sledding — you will still enjoy the excitement of the dogs running, the beautiful countryside trails, and the unique connection with the huskies. In fact, the wheeled cart can be even a little faster and more dynamic than a snow sled, making it a fun alternative for all ages.
Our priority is to provide you with an unforgettable husky experience in any season and weather conditions.

When will I receive my pickup time?

The exact pickup time will be confirmed 1–2 days before your tour date. Please be prepared that tours may start between 07:30 AM and 12:30 PM, depending on the schedule and daily arrangements.

How long is the husky sled ride?

The husky sledding experience includes approximately 3 km of riding through Latvian countryside trails. The total time with the dogs, including instructions and preparation, is longer to allow you to fully enjoy the experience.

What should I wear for the tour?

Warm winter clothing is highly recommended. Please wear:
Warm waterproof jacket and trousers
Winter boots
Gloves or mittens
Hat and warm layers
Comfortable outdoor clothing
We recommend dressing as if you will spend time outdoors in winter conditions.

Do I need previous experience to ride a husky sled?

No experience is required. Our professional guides will explain everything you need to know. You can enjoy the ride as a passenger or try basic mushing (driving the sled) with guidance from our team.

Are children allowed on the husky tour?

Yes, children are welcome. The activity is suitable for families, but children should be dressed warmly and be comfortable spending time outdoors in winter weather.

Can we do the husky sledding tour in very cold weather?

Yes! Husky dogs are naturally adapted to winter conditions and love cold weather. The tour can operate in temperatures down to around -25°C. Please dress warmly with proper winter clothing, including a hat, gloves, warm shoes, and layered clothing. The fresh winter air makes the experience even more special!

Will the tour be cancelled because of snow or bad weather?

The tour usually operates in different winter conditions, including snow and cold temperatures. If extreme weather conditions make the activity unsafe, we will contact you and provide alternative options.
