From Riga, we drive to Sigulda. Depending on traffic, the journey takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Sigulda is one of the most beautiful towns in Latvia, famous for its stunning scenery, ancient castles, and amazing nature. During the sightseeing tour, you will discover the highlights of this picturesque area and enjoy beautiful views of the Gauja River valley.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and take a break before continuing our wine experience through the beautiful Vidzeme region.

After lunch, we continue to Līgatne, a charming town surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Gauja National Park.

At a local winery, you will discover another side of Latvian winemaking and taste wines made from locally grown fruits and berries. The tasting will also include a selection of homemade liqueurs and stronger traditional drinks.

Latvian micro-wineries have flourished in recent years, creating a surprisingly large variety of wines from local ingredients. This is a great opportunity to taste something truly different and experience the creative side of Latvian winemaking.
