Husky Dog Sledding Tour in Latvia – Winter Adventure Near Riga

No snow? No problem! When conditions aren’t snowy enough, we offer an equally fun husky ride with a dog cart (wheeled sled) — so you can enjoy this adventure in any weather.

We had a very nice tour: husky sledding. It was very good organized and Jans was very friendly. The dogs are so sweet. You must do this in Riga. He is so active and he had very much tips for a unforgettable trip in Riga. We will go back to Riga and contact Rigatours.lv for tours in Riga, for example snow mobile tour, ice fishing, of the summer activity kayaking.

We had so much fun on our husky dog tour. Jans was very friendly, accommodating and super helpful. The dogs were very friendly & playful. Ride is fast (some of the dogs run 40kph) yet peaceful as you just hear sled going through snow and everything else is just quiet. It is definitely an experience you should have while visiting Riga or even if you are local as it’s an amazing experience.

Fantastic experience. Jans was so welcoming and informative. We had a great time with the huskies and on a stunning walk through the snowy forest winter wonderland. The warming mulled wine after the sledding was a real plus!
Geweldige ervaring. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Jans. Die kon ons veel vertellen over de omgeving en de Huskies. Daarna een mooie rit met de Huskies en kregen nog wat te drinken en te eten. Super ervaring!
Funny adventure!
Very great people, the best experience for us and for our children what ever we have in Latvian. Full service with tea, hot wine an latvian traditional finger food. In summer we will take the next trip with this nice stuff. Thanks a lot for this funny day. Fam. Kneidl/Austria
Beautiful Husky Tour!
We went on a day trip with Jans to the Blue Hill near Riga. The husky ride was super fun. Afterwards we went on a walk and Jans had prepared snacks and mulled wine for us while we enjoyed the view from the viewing platform. We also got to try Black Balsam, which was very tasty. Afterwards we went back to Riga and enjoyed lunch at a very beautiful, modern Market. Thank you for this great day!
We had an amazing day with Jans. We loved the huskies and the trip to the market after. Jans was a great host and we really enjoyed talking to him about the history of Latvia amongst many other things. A genuinely lovely man
