Husky Dog sledding tour in Latvia (Riga) – on arrival we will meet our guides and husky dog team. Our guide will give you instructions on how to control the sled and dogs. Become a real Musher! The Husky dog sledding track is around 3km long. This is an amazing experience that allows you to escape the city, breathe the fresh air and raise your adrenaline in a fast sled dog ride. After we will have hot drinks and snacks. If snow are not enough for sledges – there is possibility to go with dog-cart! Book in advance!

10:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Transportation
Transfer from Riga (hotel, apartment) with a comfortable car to Latvia contryside. Depend on traffics it’s takes around 0,45 min.- 1 hour.

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Instructions
Meet our team and husky dogs. Our guide will give you instructions on how to control the sled and dogs. Adults will enjoy the challenge and adventure of driving their own dogsled with their own team of 4-6 Siberian or Alaska huskies.

11:30 AM – 12.00 PM: Husky dog sledding
The Husky dog sledding track is 3km long. This is an amazing experience that allows you to escape the city, breathe the fresh air and raise your adrenaline in a fast sled dog ride. Lovely trip through amazing winter scenery – forests, fields. After ride take photos with dogs.

To warm up – we offer hot mulled wine, tea and traditional snacks.

Way back to Riga. End of the tour in Riga.

We had a very nice tour: husky sledding. It was very good organized and Jans was very friendly. The dogs are so sweet. You must do this in Riga. He is so active and he had very much tips for a unforgettable trip in Riga. We had so much fun on our husky dog tour. Jans was very friendly, accommodating and super helpful. The dogs were very friendly & playful. Ride is fast (some of the dogs run 40kph) yet peaceful as you just hear sled going through snow and everything else is just quiet. It is definitely an experience you should have while visiting Riga or even if you are local as it’s an amazing experience.

Fantastic experience. Jans was so welcoming and informative. We had a great time with the huskies and on a stunning walk through the snowy forest winter wonderland. The warming mulled wine after the sledding was a real plus!
Geweldige ervaring. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Jans. Die kon ons veel vertellen over de omgeving en de Huskies. Daarna een mooie rit met de Huskies en kregen nog wat te drinken en te eten. Super ervaring!

Beautiful Husky Tour!
We went on a day trip with Jans to the Blue Hill near Riga. The husky ride was super fun. Afterwards we went on a walk and Jans had prepared snacks and mulled wine for us while we enjoyed the view from the viewing platform. We also got to try Black Balsam, which was very tasty. Afterwards we went back to Riga and enjoyed lunch at a very beautiful, modern Market. Thank you for this great day!
We had an amazing day with Jans. We loved the huskies and the trip to the market after. Jans was a great host and we really enjoyed talking to him about the history of Latvia amongst many other things. A genuinely lovely man
It was such a great experience! We can really only recommend it to everyone. Our guide was so great and friendly. We were picked up at the hotel and then it was off to the huskies. The ride was really great, and there were also drinks and small treats. Afterwards we drove to a snow-covered moor and went for a walk there. What a dream! It was a perfect day!
Despite the lack of snow, we had an amazing time! Initially we were a bit in doubt whether we should do this activity without snow, but it was a thousand percent worth it! We got picked up by Jans, our guide for the day, at our hotel. He turnt out to be the friendliest guide of whole Riga 🙂 He introduced us to the dogs and gave very clear instructions on how to treat them. The dogs were very lovely. We got enough time to get to know them better. After seeing the huskies, Jans took us to a very nice market where they have amazing food. I could definitely recommend this activity. If I could, I would give 6 or even 7 stars.
Fantastic Husky Sledding Trip

Fantastic tour and a great morning! Even though there was no snow this did not affect the trip at all and we loved getting to spend time with the husky’s before going sledding. Oscar was a brilliant tour guide and was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. We really appreciated the small extras involved in the trip including Latvian tea, local drinks and snacks, and the tour also included walking to a lovely viewpoint. Oscar also filmed various parts of the tour and created a short video for us which was an amazing keepsake to have. All round a great day and would highly recommend if visiting Riga!

We had an amazing time on the husky sledding experience! Even though there was no snow, the team took us on cart wheels, and it was still such an incredible adventure. The dogs are super friendly, well-maintained, and most importantly, they look so happy—and that’s what truly matters.
Oscar was an outstanding tour leader—so friendly and kind. After the sledding, he even took us on a lovely walk in the woods, which added a special touch to the day. He later sent us a great video from the experience, which we really appreciated.
I highly recommend this tour with Riga Tours. You won’t be disappointed!
