11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Transportation

From Riga we are moving to Sigulda. Depend on traffics its takes around 0,45min- 1 hour.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Sigulda sightseeing tour

Sigulda – this is maybe one of the most beautiful towns in Latvia, with stunning scenery, ancient castles amazing nature.

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: The Krimulda Manor and wine

For gourmets we offer the opportunity to meet the home wine making process in the Krimulda Manor and also to taste the home wine, which is prepared by using different berries and recipes. The real taste of wine best appears enjoying with listening to the stories about life in the Krimulda Manor. You will taste 4 wines.

2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Lunch time

Lunch time in local restourant.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Zilver home wine winery

We will visit the Zilver Home Winery for wine tastings where anyone can find a wine that fits their personal taste. Zilver home wine winery was founded in 2009 but the foundation of it began at 1990’s when the country farm “Pīlādži” was developed. Since then “Pīlādži” has been cultivating a variety of fruits and berries such as apples, pears and grapes. An exceptional apple harvest lead to further cultivation of other fruits and berries. Coincidently government legislation was made that reduced the requirements for small manufacturers of wine and other alcoholic drinks, and so a third industry was created. Today the Zilver Home Winery produces more than 10 varieties of berries, fruits, forest berries and flower wines.
